The Republicans are very intent to reduce, if not totally eliminate, the impact of the health care reform law that Barack Obama signed. The Republicans in both chambers of the House are now hard at work building various bills and policies in order to effectively scuttle the implementation of the health care reform law.
The Republicans seem to be working double time to thwart this law by attacking it on two fronts – the funding and cost of implementing the law, and the introduction of many bills whose main purpose is to roll back the various provisions of the law.

With President-Elect Obama, set to take the stage this coming 20th. of the month, history is to be made. Besides from being the first African-American president, he is also the youngest to take office in America’s long history. Along with him is the hopes of many Americans who are losing jobs or who have already been laid of, victims of the worsening recession. The US’s health care industry has steadily declined in recent years and President Obama knows this for he has used the Health Care Issue as one of his main focal points during the campaign period.
Millions of Americans have already lost jobs and millions are still forecast to come, just hope the bag of tricks he and his future cabinet have a swift and effective solution to the economic mess the country is in. There is an extremely large part of the population who have no health care access at all, not to mention having medical/health insurance. Most who have lost their jobs are settling for short-term health care plans that they can manage to pay for while they look for other jobs. The short-term policies do have limited coverage and are not as effective as long term insurance but they argue it’s cheaper than other forms of health care and it’ll have to do for now.
